Journal of Traditional Building, Architecture and Urbanism

This magazine is aimed at all those people and institutions interested in traditional building, architecture and urbanism. Its articles are related to the theory and practice of these disciplines. Its objective is to promote the creation of places and buildings that are in harmony with the local culture and tradition and that are respectful of the environment and its natural resources. It also aims to provide a better knowledge of the traditional constructive cultures of the various regions of the world and, with it, a greater respect towards them that may contribute to their better preservation and to their continuity.

Announcements

2023 Call for articles

The call for submissions of articles for all sections of the fourth issue of the Journal of Traditional Building, Architecture and Urbanism is open until March 21, 2023. Content proposals may be accepted for publication in the journal. In addition, if the organizing team deems it appropriate, the proposal submitter may be invited to participate in the Fourth International Conference on Traditional Building, Architecture and Urbanism, which will take place on November 16 and 17, 2023, being these two processes independent. Texts may be submitted in English or Spanish.

Copies of the first three issues of the journal are available free of charge. Those interested should only arrange and pay the shipping costs through the company in charge of the distribution. The Fourth International Conference on Traditional Building, Architecture and Urbanism will take place on November 16 and 17, 2023. The submission of content proposals to the journal will allow authors to opt to participate in the Conference, if the organizing team deems it appropriate.
